Incorporation & Business Name Filing Date and Hours
It is that time of the year once again. To ensure your requests are processed efficiently during this busy season we have provided some helpful tips:
- POST-DATE your Ontario Articles (up to 30 days in advance)
- Use CURRENT DATE for Adoption/Approval date on Articles of Amalgamation to avoid extended delays caused by required manual filing intervention with the Registry.
- CLEARLY IDENTIFY THE EFFECTIVE DATE on the Articles and in any instructions.
- SAME-DAY FILING DATE: Please submit your Articles requiring a same-day filing date during our regular business hours on Registry Complete or to [email protected] before 2:00 pm. Same-day filings cannot be requested on weekends and holidays.
- Ontario Articles of Incorporation, Initial Return, Notice of Change, Annual Return, and Business Name Registrations for Ontario Corporations, General Partnerships, and Sole Proprietorships submitted on our REGISTRY COMPLETE PLATFORM ARE PROCESSED 24/7
- Friday, December 23, 2022: Regular business hours. Open from 8:00 am EST to 6:00 pm EST
- December 26-27, 2022: Our offices will be closed. Order requests will remain in a queue for most Government services to be processed on the next available business day.
- Friday, December 30, 2022: Regular business hours. Open from 8:00 am EST to 6:00 pm EST
- Monday, January 2, 2023: Our offices will be closed. Order requests will remain in a queue for most Governmental services to be processed on the next available business day.
- Tuesday, January 3, 2023: Regular business hours resume. Open from 8:00 am EST to 6:00 pm EST.
Please note, ESC will make every effort to ensure that all transactions, filings, and services are completed promptly, however some matters may not be completed due to restrictions at the various government offices.
